This wash is for men with any beard length or type. It's especially beneficial for those who find that regular shampoos or soaps leave the skin under their beard feeling tight, dry, or itchy.

It's best to wash your beard a few times a week, not necessarily every day.

Step 1: Wet your beard thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Step 2: Squeeze a small amount of wash into your palm and work it into a lather.

Step 3: Massage the lather deep into your beard, ensuring you scrub the skin underneath to remove any dead skin cells or buildup.

Step 4: Rinse your beard completely until no suds are left.

Step 5: Gently pat your beard dry with a towel and follow up with a beard conditioner.

This product is free of sulfates, silicones, and parabens, but it does contain fragrance and numerous botanical extracts. If you have known sensitivities, please check the ingredient list.

The 2nd's Recommendation: Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin (like under your jaw) 24 hours before full use to ensure no irritation occurs.

Using a dedicated beard wash is a crucial upgrade from using regular shampoo on your beard. This one is effective yet gentle enough that it won't dry out your face. We recommend focusing your scrubbing motion on the skin beneath the beard; that's where itchiness and flakes start, so keeping it clean is key.

Why can't I just use regular hair shampoo on my beard?
The skin on your face is much more sensitive than the skin on your scalp. Most hair shampoos contain stronger detergents (like sulfates) that are great for cutting through oil on your head but can be far too drying for your face. This can lead to irritation, tightness, and flakes. A dedicated beard wash is formulated to be much gentler.

How often should I wash my beard?
For most guys, washing your beard 2-3 times per week is ideal. Washing it every single day can strip away too many natural oils, leading to dryness. Of course, if you work a dirty job or hit the gym hard, you may need to wash it more often.

What's the difference between a beard wash and a face wash?
A beard wash is specifically designed to clean both the coarse hair of your beard and the skin underneath. It has properties to soften the hair that a standard face wash wouldn't. A face wash is focused solely on the skin. You can use a beard wash on your whole face, but a face wash won't do much to clean or soften your beard hair.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
