Step 1: Load the Blade. Using the injector, slide a fresh blade into the razor head until it clicks. The old blade will be pushed out of the other side.

Step 2: Lather Up. Apply a high-quality shaving cream to the area you're shaving.

Step 3: Use No Pressure. This is the most important rule. Rest the head of the razor against your skin and let the weight of the razor do the work. Do not press down.

Step 4: Find the Angle. Hold the handle at about a 30-degree angle to your skin. You'll hear and feel it cutting.

Step 5: Shave in short, straight strokes, preferably with the grain of your hair growth.

Is it actually hard to cut yourself with a safety razor?
With this one, it's very difficult. The Single Edge SE is specifically designed for safety. The angle of the blade is fixed, and the NickStop™ finned guard makes it much safer and more forgiving than traditional double-edge safety razors or straight razors.

Why is one blade better than five?
Five-blade cartridges often cause irritation through a process called "hysteresis." The first blade pulls the hair up, the next few cut it below the skin's surface, and the last blade can scrape the skin. This can lead to razor burn and ingrown hairs. A single, sharp blade cuts the hair cleanly at the surface of the skin, resulting in a close shave with significantly less irritation.

Where can I buy more blades?
You can use Supply's high-quality blades, or any standard "injector" style safety razor blades, which are available from many retailers. They are not proprietary, so you are not locked into one brand.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
