What's the difference between a physical and a chemical exfoliant?
Think of them as doing the same job in two different ways. A physical exfoliant (like the pumice here) uses a gentle grit to manually buff away dead skin from the surface. A chemical exfoliant (like the Glycolic and Lactic Acids) uses acids to dissolve the bonds holding the dead skin cells together, allowing them to be washed away. Using both provides a very thorough exfoliation.

Is this scrub too harsh to use every day?
Yes, for most people, daily exfoliation with a product this effective is too much and can lead to irritation. Using it 1-2 times per week is the perfect frequency to get all the smoothing benefits without overdoing it.

Will this help with bumps on the back of my arms (Keratosis Pilaris)?
Yes, it can be very effective for Keratosis Pilaris (KP). KP is caused by a buildup of keratin that plugs hair follicles. The combination of physical and chemical exfoliation in this scrub is excellent for breaking down and smoothing away those plugs.
