This has a lot of exfoliants. Is it gentle enough for daily use?
Yes, it's designed to be. The formula uses a combination of very gentle exfoliants: enzymes (from pineapple), a mild physical powder (bamboo), and a PHA (gluconolactone), which is known to be much gentler than other chemical acids. This allows for effective daily resurfacing without the irritation of a harsh scrub.

What is a PHA?
PHA stands for Poly-Hydroxy Acid. It's a type of chemical exfoliant, similar to AHAs (like glycolic acid). However, PHA molecules are larger, so they don't penetrate the skin as deeply. This makes them much gentler and less irritating, and they also have the added benefit of being humectants, meaning they help to hydrate the skin.

What is a "creamy" cleanser?
A creamy cleanser has a richer, more lotion-like texture compared to a gel or foaming cleanser. They are often very hydrating and are great for cleansing the skin thoroughly without stripping away its natural oils, leaving the skin feeling soft and comfortable.
