Step 1: Start with dry or towel-dried hair. Scoop a small, dime-sized amount of cream from the jar.

Step 2: Warm the cream by rubbing it between your palms. This makes for an even application.

Step 3: Apply to your hair, working it through from roots to ends for full distribution.

Step 4: Style with your fingers or a comb. You can re-style it throughout the day. It can be used on its own for a relaxed look, or as a pre-styler before a clay or paste for extra hold and conditioning.

This is a fantastic "one-and-done" styler for days when you want to look put-together but not overly styled. It's also a great problem-solver for guys with curly or wavy hair who struggle with frizz. We like using it as a pre-styler on damp hair before blow-drying; it adds a layer of conditioning and makes the hair feel incredibly soft before you add a product with more hold like a clay.

What's the difference between a hair cream and a paste or clay?
It's all about hold and finish. A hair cream (like this) has the lightest hold and is focused on conditioning, reducing frizz, and providing a natural look. A paste typically offers a medium hold with a semi-matte finish. A clay usually provides the strongest, driest hold with a completely matte (no shine) finish.

Will this make my hair look greasy?
No, it's designed to be lightweight. The formula includes barley starch to help absorb excess oil, and it provides a very subtle, healthy-looking shine, not a greasy one. As with any product, the key is to start with a small amount and add more only if needed.

What do prebiotics do in a hair product?
Just like your gut, your scalp has a community of microorganisms called a microbiome. Prebiotics are ingredients that act as "food" for the good bacteria in that community. A healthy and balanced scalp microbiome can lead to less irritation, less dryness, and an overall better environment for hair growth.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
