Squalane: An exceptional, lightweight moisturizer that is very similar to your skin's own natural oils. It absorbs quickly to provide deep hydration and helps to lock in moisture.

This unscented, daily sunscreen lotion is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Its sweat- and water-resistant properties make it great for everyday activity.

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Step 1: Apply a generous amount of the sunscreen lotion to all exposed areas of your body.

Step 2: Rub it in thoroughly to ensure even coverage.

Step 3: Reapply at least every 2 hours, or every 80 minutes after swimming or sweating.

This product is a chemical sunscreen and is unscented. If you have very sensitive skin or are sensitive to chemical sunscreen filters, a patch test is recommended.

This is a fantastic daily body sunscreen because it doesn't feel like a chore to put on. The lightweight lotion texture is a world away from those thick, sticky beach sunscreens. Can I use this sunscreen on my face?
While the formula is gentle, it's primarily designed as a body lotion. For your face, we recommend using a sunscreen that is specifically formulated for facial skin, as they are typically lighter and less likely to clog pores, like the Oars + Alps Face + Eye Cream or a dedicated facial SPF.

Is SPF 35 enough protection for a day at the beach?
Yes, SPF 35 provides excellent protection, blocking about 97% of UVB rays. It's a great choice for any outdoor activity, including a beach day. The most important factor for protection isn't just the SPF number, but reapplying it consistently every 2 hours, and especially after swimming or sweating.

How is this different from the Oars + Alps SPF 50 Mineral Spray?
They offer two different types of protection and application. This SPF 35 Lotion is a chemical sunscreen in a traditional lotion format that you rub in. The SPF 50 Spray is a mineral sunscreen that uses Zinc Oxide to physically block the sun's rays and comes in a convenient spray can. The choice comes down to your preference for application and sunscreen type.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
