What's the difference between a clay and a clay pomade?
A traditional clay is typically very dry, gritty, and offers a super matte finish with a rugged texture. A clay pomade, like this product, is a hybrid. It gives you the strong hold and matte finish of a clay but has a smoother, creamier consistency that's often easier to apply and can offer more nourishment, like a pomade.

Is this product hard to wash out?
No. Because it is a water-based formula, it's designed to break down easily with water and shampoo. It rinses out clean without the heavy, waxy buildup that some oil-based pomades can leave behind.

Should I apply it to damp or dry hair?
It depends on the look you want. Applying it to dry hair will give you the most hold and the mattest finish. Applying it to damp hair before blow-drying can create incredible volume and a more natural, relaxed hold.

This jar is crafted with 100% recycled plastic and can be recycled curbside, along with the box made from FSC-certified paper.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
