What exactly is "Orris"?
Orris is the root of the Iris flower. It has to be aged for several years before it can be used in perfumery. It’s highly valued in the fragrance world because it adds a creamy, earthy, and sophisticated depth that helps other scents last longer on the skin.

Is this a cologne or a body spray?
It sits right in the middle. It has the sophisticated scent profile of a cologne but the lighter concentration and easy application of a body spray. This makes it more suitable for all-over use and frequent re-application than a traditional, heavy cologne.

Will the scent last all day?
Because it is a body fragrance, it is lighter than an Eau de Parfum. While the base notes of sandalwood and patchouli will linger, the lighter top notes will naturally fade. Re-applying every few hours is the best way to maintain the full profile of the scent throughout the day.
