Step 2: Scrape Out a Small Amount. Use the back of your thumbnail to scrape out a pea-sized amount of wax.

Step 3: Warm It Up. Rub the wax between your palms and fingers until it melts and becomes smooth and pliable. This is a crucial step for even application.

Step 4: Apply and Style. Work the wax through your beard and mustache, starting from the roots and moving to the tips. Use your hands or a beard comb to shape and style it as desired.

What's the difference between beard wax and beard balm?
Think of it in terms of hold. A beard balm is primarily for conditioning and light shaping; its main job is to soften the beard and provide minimal control. A beard wax, like this one, is for styling. It has a stronger hold designed to shape your mustache or keep your beard looking neat and tidy all day.

Will this make my beard feel greasy or stiff?
No. It's specifically formulated to avoid that. The Candelilla wax provides a flexible hold, so it won't feel stiff. As long as you use the right amount (start with a small pea-sized amount) and warm it up properly, it will absorb nicely and provide a natural-looking shine, not a greasy one.

How do I wash it out?
Since this is an oil-and-wax-based product, simply rinsing with water won't be enough. You'll need to use a dedicated beard wash or a gentle shampoo to properly cleanse your beard and remove any product buildup. We recommend washing it out at the end of the day or before you go to bed.
